Asda car accident what to do

im new to this forum so i HI everyone !!

I went to asda to get a photo cake and there machine was broke so i was told to go to another store Rochdale but buy the cake at chadderton because rochdale didn't have any so i did, when i got to rochdale they didnt have the machine they did by hand in the back and said i need to have a photo they cant use my USB, so i went to the photo shop and put my USB in and it wouldn't work, i used the other machine and that wouldn't work. i used Bluetooth that wouldn't work, i bought a lead for my phone and that wouldn't work.

I had to drive all the way home to print a photo and go all the way back, she did it and when i got it, it was blue tone and blurry, i waited until the morning and rang them up and complained they said bring it back and you can have a refund !!! that's it even though i did over 15 miles wasting my time i took me 4 hours to do all this. SO i ended with a refund and having to go to Manchester for it but even then it was rubbish and had to buy a rubbish cake.

Apart from all that, after i got the cake and got in the car and set off a car reversed going into me and swung to the right and went over a curb and now my car is not road worthy and i'm having to folk out money to get it fixed the lighting in rochdale asda is horrendous what should i do?

I mean my car and the damage the wheel alloy has sliced into the Tyre and they think the suspension has completely gone

Sorry, i got confused amoungst all the detail with the cake part of the story.

Did the person reverse out of their space and hit into you?
If so, were you moving at the time or stationary?
What was the damage to their car? Did they drive off after it happened?

no i was at a crossroads stand still and he did a left reverse on the juncton coming behind me so i swung right so he didn't hit me and went over a curb which i couldn't see as it was dark

Seriously though OP. If someone hit you claim on their insurance. That's what it is there for. As it is a public space the Road Traffic Act applies so you can make a claim.

If I understand this correctly the other car didn't hit you but you drove onto a kerb and damaged your alloy and suspension. There is no damage to the other car.

Is that correct?

Get the horn on your car fixed.

Buy another cake.

Contact your insurance company.

Did this happen in the car park?

Do you have the details of the other driver?
