My Husband Has Just Told Me This Story

One of his colleagues at work has a relative. She was married to this guy for years and the children are in their 20s. Her husband walked out on her without a word and she was really worried for a while, not knowing where he was or anything.

Anyway, the son looked at his father's Facebook page and I am not sure how he did it but he tracked him down from his IP address. It turns out he is living in Taiwan with a ladyboy of 19 years old. (Definitely male).:eek:

Anyway, they are still married and the house is in both names, there is still a mortgage on it. It is the lady's home. Can the husband force the wife to sell if he chooses to do so?

    Yes, he can. But:


    One: He'll have to come back from Taiwan in order to do so.

    Two: He'd have to go to court to force a sale and these proceedings are not either quick or cheap.

    How long has he been gone, and how long has she been paying the mortgage alone?

    These IP addresses obviously have a bit more to them than I thought. I can understand how it would be possible to use it to track someone to Taiwan, but quite how it can reveal the age and sexual orientation of their partner is beyond me.

    did you not get as far as the 2nd paragraph of the OP?

    I don't know for sure but I got the impression that the truth came out once they found out where he was.

    I don't know myself. You have to remember I am repeating the story third hand. We don't actually know these people. Apparently the son is a computer whiz and the mum was amazed at how he managed it.

    When he wakes up I will see if there are any more details.

    Yes... the son went to his dad's FB page and got an IP address and from that he untangled the whole sordid mess.

    Did I miss something?
