anyhow have to say as i don`t live a million miles from said meat shop i decided to drop in and give it a try - and have to say it`s one of the better ones around, sausages and steaks in particular were quality.

Hannons has just been featured on Radio 4 Food Programme - on NI food, and the growth of really good local/artisan production! Worth a listen on the i-player,

I'm another vote for Jackson's in Ballynure. I have yet to be disappointed in anything from there, pies, kievs, stir fries, all excellent. Their chicken kebabs are lovely too, especially done on the barbecue.

I had Hannons steaks recently too and was impressed by them!
