As has been reported in Computeractive and elsewhere, Vista can be a lot cheaper in other countries than in Britain. We asked Microsoft if it objected towards buying from abroad, which told us that there’s no reason not to buy your copy of Vista while on holiday in the USA.

I remember this being debated on this board a bit ago, the main uncertainty then was whether MS would allow it or not as there didn't seem to be anything clear at the time whether it was allowed.
