Virgin Broadband Support - now an 0906 number

I got an email this morning to say that the Broadband support will now be 25 pence a minute on an 0906 number.

Given that the error has always been their fault whenever I have called, it's less than impressive.

I would imaging that the "real Virgin" won't be impressed either, they have an excellent, open-policy customer service record

(apologies if posted elsewhere, but I couldn't find it).
Thanks in advance,

Steve V

I would have thought that the ISP's would have learnt by now that tech support is so variable that if I am paying that sort of cash per minute it wants to be a guaranteed level of support and it will fix the issue by a certain time frame as well. I am with PLUSNET at present and after BT bought them over recently (or maybe they were going to do this anyway) they changed their support number to a normal geographical number. Pleased ? yes! used it? yes and it worked fine. ISP'S you have been warned!
Currently 4 me its Rogers Contract cell phone, REBTEL.COM is the best mobile making and receiving calls to/from UK and Canada:beer:

    Once again
If the fault is found to be with VMs network or equipment including modem , the cost of the call be refunded .
They are introducing this charge as most calls to BB tech support end up being out of VMs hands (ie. the PC)
