Been to friends - her birthday gift was a Yankee Candles reed diffuser. I hope it smells good; I'm aware that recent gifts may be a bit 'cluttery' and I'm loath to keep foisting [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] ornaments on people!
Been to mums - she's been here twice today and I was out both times (she lives near enough to 'pop' round). My Auntie (not my real Auntie but Mum's lifelong friend) has sent some footwear she can no longer wear - so that's ANOTHER pair of ankle boots - I live in them in winter so I'm happy - these are ideal for work as they are wedges! And some more summery shoes. I think that brings the ankle boots stash to 6 pairs:rotfl:but one pair is now downgraded to 'garden' IYSWIMDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
