Nicki why isn't your DD on half term? Have I got it wrong? Is she at uni/college?

Our LEA decided we should have half term last week. :( They're always awkward and it means that DD is rarely off at the same time as the rest of the family as they're spread out over different LEAs, plus Ex works full time not just term time. I'm just glad February 2014's half term is the same as Ex's as he's getting married on the Monday and DD is a bridesmaid! Its the only holidays they have exactly the same dates off until the summer holidays and even those will start/end different dates. This is why I look forward to her going away, its hard to arrange anything more than one night so it doesn't happen very often :o But she's away a lot over the next couple of months between birthdays,Christmas/New Year and wedding preparations I'll hardly see her except for ushering her out the door somewhere, to bed or in the bath until after the wedding! At least all I have to do is make sure she has a decent hair cut before hand and do my best to make sure she's spot free ;) All the stress of which shoes, dress, how she should wear her hair etc is all up to him and his OH :D

Ironing of urgent stuff done, one of my programmes watched and now I'm off to bed. :D

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

I'm in. I'm awake :(. DH thinks nothing of waking me up *ahem in the middle of the night. What the hell is the matter with him?
Clock change night was one hell of a shift. 13.5 hours. I was going crackers by 2am as it just went quiet and then dragged :(.
Will see what we can achieve this half term. I have DH off too so he'll want to do day trips but weather's carp and kids have hw. Our road is being dug up tomorrow and will be out of action for 3 weeks  so all of us will have to park elsewhere. Even those with driveways. Ooh, it'll be lovely when it's done though :).

    Morning All

I'm awake too Kaz. HT but quite a lot planned and DH is at home for some of it too. Not sure whether I can make the meet tomorrow as I had arranged for my mum to have the kids but she didn't write it on her calendar and they've gone away until tomorrow night. If DH finishes the job he's on today then I can probably escape but the kids won't want to come with me so unless he's available I'm stuffed.

Hospital appointment for DS this morning and then we're going to visit some friends. I've got a bit of shopping to do and then Cubs tonight so that's most of today taken up.

    Have a good day all
