  • I've spent thirteen hours 'working' on eBay today wreck.gif
Got ahold of my stock list and fired up Auctavia. Spent the best part of three hours staring at the Auctavia site because it's all new and shiney and I didn't much understand it. I think this was pretty much the expression on my face computer.gif, as I sat there in utter bewilderment.

ANYHOO, got Auctavia working, fired up thirteen auctions totalling £549.90 then found out Auctavia and eBay aren't communicating to each other properly and my auctions don't seem to be showing correctly! AARGH!

After more faffing around on FEEbay I ended signing myself up for an eBay store  ho-hum, heh. It's loading my details and what not just now and I can't access it for a couple of hours. So, hopefully, When I wake up later today it'll have done what it needs to and all will be hunkydory.

Here are another couple of the pictures I had done on Wednesday to ooh and ahh at :p

Lets see what tomorow brings. I hope everyone is doing well out there, I might be a busy bunny but I haven't forgotten about y'all xxx

  • That's Auctavia and eBay comunicating properly now! YAY. Ebay shop is there with items in, all seems well. Jeeso! The extra things you get when you open an ebay shop! Graphs and charts, sales tracking ect, it all looks very swish....don't knwo how to use it all yet though :p

So far today I've done a washing and hung everything up. Going to run around this flat, again, with black bags and just bin stuff. Far too much clutter and I get into a horrid state of lethargy when my home is cluttered, just can't summon the energy to deal with it. SO TODAY I WILL!

What with all the ebaying, surveys, clicks, job searches ect I've had no time to myself for my hobby. It's kinda starting to annoy me because everything else is so time consuming, but I get Saturdays and Sundays with my man, and bills need paid so ebaying and once a week visits it is for now. My Wonder Cabinet is still looking pretty bare, I could do with putting more in there, but again, it's a time thing.

Wondercabinet is a livejournal community where folks who collect odd things (like myself) show off their wares in a cabinet they dub 'Wonder Cabinet'. Some really interesting things out there!
If you fancy a peek at mine, here are the links:

Oh, and the cabinet itself was free, as was the old alarm clock with light on top :)
Ok, so my hobbying isn't exactly mainstreem, but it's far from boring :p

Time for a cuppa, hope you're all well xx

Proces for cleaning the bones was:
Skin and de-flesh as much as possible, avoid any cutting into bone with knives/scalples ect.
Leave bones in a bucket of water with a scoop of biological washing powder (hidden in the communal garden) for one week at a time. At the end of each week pour away the water (flowers and plants LOVE it), refill and repeat for around three weeks.
By the end of this process (masacration or 'water rotting') most of the fiddly bits of flesh are gone, eaten away by bacteria in the water.
Now, remove the bones and put them in a container of 6% Hydrogen Peroxide solution. This chemical is used in the treatment of throat conditions which cause skin to die, and as such, breaks down the last of the flesh whilst gently whitening bone.

TAA DAA! One month in all from stinky roadkill to shiney white. :)

  • Here you go Pania *clicky* Not a very good/detailed shot, my camera isn't up to much really. I found the lost limb walking home one day. It was just sat on the ground, probably remnants of a kitty feast. It caught my eye instantly and I took it home :rotfl:
