Grrr. Hubby & boy returned having exchanged games rather than opting for cash. "It's better value" he says. Maybe so, but as I don't play/buy them I would have preferred to be adding cash to my fund! Never send men to do a job and expect it to be done as specified...
So, I've counteracted this set back by listing more shoes (sob) on ebay. I love shoes (total shoe-aholic) and this is painful, but I have stunning tip top condition pairs that I truly never wear and I know they'll sell well - even if it is ultra hard to let go. Aiming to do this £10/day challenge plus a bit more - I've ended up agreeing to "sub" my dad £400 for Christmas, which I don't have (far too much of a long story - suffice to say I'm too soft - sigh) so I'm trying to counter balance it by making it in the same month I loan it out. Maybe then I can deal with my own debt! Plus side - cleared out the magazine rack and found 71p this afternoon which went straight in my ziplock bag.November make £10/day challenge = £874.14/£300

Durham, congratulations! That's really good!
Last week I did some volunteering at a playscheme. I went to help one of the trustees with her garden today and she gave me £50 for volunteering (expenses), £10 for helping her with her garden (only an hour and a half too!) and found £10.16 in change around the house! I'm so proud of myself!SPC #3420 -

Really want to do some mystery shopping this month. Got the upstairs of my house to ransack for eBay sales. Just advertised some videos for free in my local paper and need to buy a replacement part for a blender set I have so I can sell on eBay.Competition wins £14,136.30[\COLOR]0 -
Drat! I have tried to sell my books on eBay and green metopolis with no luck. I have just tried webuybooks.co.uk and it is saying they won't buy it because it's not in demand. Any other ideas guys for shifting these books for cash?Competition wins £14,136.30[\COLOR]0

This is my first challenge, can you put me down for £5 a day please?
Been a bit silly over these past few months and just need to cut down on my spending - and earning more!
Got a few bits on ebay ending tonight and some next week too - with some bids too so hopefully will be a good start!

Lucky Penny - I had the same issue re - trying to sell books - what I've done (though I don't know if it'll work yet) is post them on eBay as a "job lot" 70 fiction paperbacks/hardbacks for collection only starting at 99p. I thought even 99p is better than nothing, though it will depend if anyone local wants to buy such a thing! If you like I'll let you know if it works, but only listed today so I don't know yet :-/November make £10/day challenge = £874.14/£300
