As long as there is a redacted contract (bits of it covered up!) and a rubbishy 'loss' costing including 'write off allowance' and business operating costs, we know POPLA won't allow VCS to win. This is standard rubbish from VCS. You will win.

I received copies of all the evidence from POPLA today. It fills me with rage to read. Couldn't stomach it all. Happy to copy it to anybody who is interested and authentic.

I am in the same position as yourself Eddie Metal having received a POPLA code. I do not know what to do next. I do not want to give in but think it may be less hassle. What is your next move?

Clearly his move was to win at POPLA, with the above appeal, of course. He doesn't need to do anything else and will have won by February.

Gawd you are ONE simple step away from winning at POPLA and you reckon you might give in?! We give you template examples in the sticky thread under 'How to win at POPLA', it's all downhill now. Start your own thread once you have reads the sticky thread for NEWBIES, and drafted your own easy-peasy POPLA winner.

Please can you say if the pre-estimate of loss calculation is their standard one which states pcn issues costs 11.21 or 5.60, and end with totals of 97.26 and 96.48.

If not, then perhaps they have take on board the POPLA lead assessor Henry Greenfields instructions on how to word their appeals. In which case you will need to counter this. Would be good to know.

  • I received a letter from POPLA saying the parking charge notice has been cancelled so the appeal has been allowed by order of the chief adjudicator. It's such a sudden change of direction that I wonder if my letter of complaint to Speke Airport has caused the cancellation but I haven't received an explanation. Anyway, thanks to everybody's help and encouragement and in answer to Bubs01 above, you have to take them on. It will take some effort but the principle and the prospect of victory makes it worth it. I won! I flippin' well won!!!

Yes the pre-estmate of loss ends with those totals and includes the figures you mention.
