Just taken me 30 minutes to drive home from work on what is normally a 20 minute drive

Loads of surface water/minor flooding and winds now picking up.

Hot water bottle done now of to bed.

Glad I don't have to be at work until 2pm this afternoon!!

  • Still not windy just outside Cardiff, a bit of rain but that's it. Weird as drove to the outskirts twice earlier and it was horrendous.

I'm guessing Aliens have created a big bubble over where I live as i'll be needed for technological research in the future. :D

Torrential rain, gusting winds and now bedside light flickering so could lose power. Might as well snuggle down and go to sleep!

After driving across London (and back) today which DW tells me was three hours but which felt like half a day!

There's rain outside that I don't like the sound of!

Here's the September Girls with Heartbeat. That should wake everybody up!

  • The torrential rain woke me up, thankfully it looks like the 80mph winds haven't materialised tonight. It was as windy as heck yesterday with lots of rain until 5pm ish and then the wind thankfully died down. TBH I think the weather was worse yesterday - hope that isn't 'famous last words'!
  • For you earlybirds
There are 2 types of memory foam toppers - double ones- on boots cheap (BUT NOT as cheap as a few days back)
    Magnetic double 3.5cm £31.75
    Charcoal double 2.5cm £25.00

No glitch in basket & just 1 & 2 items left.
    HTH some earlybird.

  • Forgot to say morning all.
Just for your info IF this thread is on the main grabbit board as it was this morning, if you see it there, click expired & presumably if a few of us do this it goes back to where it belongs - it did for me anyway.
