Just heard a really loud bang outside, looked out the window and one of the pains of glass on the conservatory is shattered.

A range of expletives went through my head as I thought some little **** has thrown a rock over the 2 gardens next to mine and hit the glass.

Been to investigate and whilst the glass has shattered from a central point, there is no impact mark, no can I find anything on the floor that could have caused the damage.

Come inside and googled and apparantly double glazed units can spontaneously shatter!!

    House insurance will love this!

Is it Velux - they will replace and fit free of charge;);)

    They did for me.

Alas it is from the cheapest and worst conservatory builders that the previous owners of the house could find. If I knew who they were, and they were still in business (apart from being shocked) would expect them to tell me it was supposed to do that.
These are the people who decided to let the only drainpipe for the whole of the conservatory just run into the top of the nearest drain. As in all over the manhole cover, so the water had nowhere to go apart from into the bricks of ours and the neighbours house, causing damp. Idiots.

Oh, right now, we have a downtime by msm, so Morries updating (of last week's prices sadly) suspended. Maybe the storm affecting those of us farther south has cut them off? Could have intermittent, or no, internet connections from me if it gets wild (already having that last week when it was a bit windy - and much less than I suspect I am now to have come).

Quite a lot of good items have gone onto the M list now (e.g. the Patak cooking sauces). It's technically expired but this should still work early tomorrow (albeit some of us are being warned to go out as late as we can and only if essential) and I suspect (but no guarantees) the offer will continue in M. Otherwise, may help you as to where to look in M to check on your way to Mr A (or T). The one I think may be doubtful whether it will continue into the new week is the SP Mint Sauce. Otherwise, perhaps those with expiry dates in November or later, will still run.

Hope the list assists those for whom it can (in other words sorry Northern Ireland).

I suppose gives me chance now to quit for the night, batten down and back later. I've got about halfway through the list, so a quarter tomorrow night (or all day, during the day, if I'm cut off:D:rotfl: - unable to travel that is, but still left with internet on) and a quarter on the few hours I have on Tuesday night. Should be ready for me to recheck on Wednesday. Even if not completely useful for you.

Hey - at least it's not stormy on Wednesday!:T:T:):)

A quick(?) note on the M list - call it tardiness, which it may be or alternatively I just have other things to do - I think it's the fact the M list has expanded - rather than it being the M list taking much longer, I think it's the fact the M list already has a lot on it (and a lot of significant use) that I feel less 'motivated'(?)/pressed to have to update more onto it. I get round it, and the offers I'm then adding have at least another week to run (as at the time of last Wednesday) anyway, so sort of less urgent - though, of course, if anything goes on flash for just a week, I'll prioritise that onto the list - or at least a prominent mention on Wednesday night. A bit of a shame the Baileys weren't picked up Avs M (but then I thought that would be so).

Alright - goodnight!! Stay as safe as you can! See you later!:):)
