That depends on if you want to absorb the cost of any fillers into it?

No, bought things I wanted/needed anyway. You know the maths???

Just been told ASDA are ending the APG.

All the marketing is now going to be based on the 'price lock' and 'more low prices'.

Not sure when its finishing - but it is when not if!

Mine arrived today and all I can say is that it is AWESOME!

The reviews on Amazon are great and I concur with the majority of them.

    Great fun!

Well, check todays and this weekends press ads - also the Asda price news leaflet that gets delivered with local papers. No mention of the APG - it's still running so it's flagged in the stores but it is about to be chopped.

Cant see Asda cancelling APG. Big Tv campaign at the moment, they will lose a lot of face and take a load of flack in the papers for it.

The big push is that they dont just match, they beat the price.

Check out center spread pages 34 -35....may have some truth:eek:

Strange that they announced the return of £5 off £40 vouchers for those using the APG site in the run up to Christmas. Can't remember the exact dates but they're hardly likely to be encouraging and promoting use of a scheme that they're going to withdraw.

But time will tell I suppose :)

They have also been running a big billboard campaign about not just matching prices, they beat them by 10%. Would be strange to then withdraw the APG (but supermarkets do odd things sometimes so we we will have to wait and see). Maybe they are going to change it to double the difference :).
