I'm fed up to the back teeth with Asda and their perishing APG system ! I got the cheese (the trigger plus the seriously strong) and 8 other tems. I know the trigger won't count but I still had 9 items - and they were all things that have worked before (little 10p chocs, onion, custard, jelly etc etc) . But, you've guessed it .. 'not enough items' !
Well, thats about the 4th time in 2 weeks that I've had that happen when I've clearly had 9 or 10 items . Their system is unreliable. I'm going to take the whole lot back to CS, get them to void it and get them to put it all through again with a couple of extra bits (I'll be re-buying the same cheese so there won't be any wastage!)
I always get one or 2 extra items to be on the safe side but, at this rate, I'll be getting a dozen or more extras. I don't mind taking a hit when its my own fault but this is getting silly.ELITE 5:2

I think it is Asda just adding an extra bit of marketing into the mix. Only a certain demographic of people will use APG. Some dont like using vouchers, some dont have computers, some will only buy a basket at a time so dont qualify.
All this is doing is trying to appeal to those people to get them into shopping at asda. They are saying that if you shop at asda, you dont need to mess about, you will get the best price. You dont have to hope that a voucher is printed at the till in order to get it, buy a certain number of products or spend a certain amount to make it cheaper. Thats all.
It is not saying they are ending APG, just trying to attract a new crop of customers.
spot on
they are just trying to attract people who go "thats a good price for mince and peppers" and then throw lord knows what kind of overpriced crap in their trolley just because they believe Sada to be cheaperApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
No been same price for last few weeks, autumn sale thought it may go down but it hasnt mooved:( lasy year we booked 18th oct, the year before end of nov:eek: dont want to wait too long you have to think there are over 1,000 families/couples here that need accommodation on those same dates:eek:
You have mail0 -
Cant see Asda cancelling APG. Big Tv campaign at the moment, they will lose a lot of face and take a load of flack in the papers for it.
The big push is that they dont just match, they beat the price.
And Tesco will have a field day shouting that Asda can't cope with Ts competition !ELITE 5:2

Now don't be making bubbs jealous
Poppy will love nephew but she wont go with him 'woof dog' stays with her mum
Bubbs is soooo last week. She stood me up x 3 this week because she was too busy playing that game where you all throw your keys into a bowl and then pick one out and do all kinds of exotic things with each other!
What level are you on now? I cannae be bothered playing anymore. This level is evil!
Did anyone watch the Crime show, or whatever it was called on, on Channel 5? All those folk were getting pickpocketed and they didn't even have an inkling.0 -

Do you use the app? It does this sometimes to me but I just rescan and it usually works.
I usually add bits of actual shopping I need in with it so end up with around 12 items0 -
Expecting 3.00 next to the chicken comparison - have I missed something??
