then bloke from near by house came out and said it was his lurcher dog  he admitted he tried to call him back but had no control and watched the dog do it:(:( he only caught the dog when he went in the small field so he could shut the gate,
he has offered to pay for them but it is not the money we hatched them all out , just glad ds3 did not go as he stayed at home doing homework as he would have been really upset to see them:(
So sorry rhosy what an awful thing to happen xCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No way, what a coincidence after them both falling asleep over their red wine the other week on the sofa. :rotfl:
One minute he was sat in the lounge with us and then he was gone, usually he is off out in the garden or something or out on his bike. But too dark for garden and bike tyres are sat in hall as he got new ones this morning as kept getting puncture.
I might go and have a peek in a mo. But quite liking that peaceful Friday evening feeling while it lasts.
My oh eventually appeared around 7pm ish asking what's to eat lol but I did enjoy the peace:p
I have been out with a friend for lunch and he had been shifting a load of stuff after the decorating business. He decided he needed a reward so took himself off to the pub0 -
thanks everyone for the lovely comments oh has been back and checked that the rest are ok and one lame duck now in a small pen at home and cockeral with no tail but they seem to have settled down now we will bury the poor things in the morning:(queen_of_cheap wrote: »Me too. he has no control at all over the dog it came from a rescue centre and when loose he cannot get near it and according to his neighbour when the 2 horses in the field started to panic (Both fine ds2 put them in stables with hay nets for the night) he told his wife to get his gun and was going to shoot it:eek::eek::eek::eek: but she refused,
i am so pleased that she did as would have been more upset my oh has suggested he takes the dog back to the centre as now it has done it once it will do it again,0 -

Just been told ASDA are ending the APG.
All the marketing is now going to be based on the 'price lock' and 'more low prices'.
Not sure when its finishing - but it is when not if!
Please don't all shoot the messenger.
That would be strange as they seem to be hammering the advertising of this at the minute. I haven't seen so many tv adverts and billboards for it at any other time.0 -

Well, check todays and this weekends press ads - also the Asda price news leaflet that gets delivered with local papers. No mention of the APG - it's still running so it's flagged in the stores but it is about to be chopped.0 -
Cant see Asda cancelling APG. Big Tv campaign at the moment, they will lose a lot of face and take a load of flack in the papers for it.
The big push is that they dont just match, they beat the price.0
