Also, if it's got less than 24 hours to go, you cannot amend the listing in any case.
Let it run. If the winning bidder tries to haggle, send him away, file a non-paying bidder report with eBay, and you won't pay the final value fee. Then either offer to the next highest bidder or relist. Tedious, but that's how it works. If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0 -
I've sold one previous car on ebay - I had no-one come to view it before bidding, a couple of phone calls about the condition of the car etc, and the winning bidder just came with the cash, had a walk around the car, started the engine, and that was it. No problems.0

all cars in that price bracket have some problems. That's why they're cheap. Even if there's nothing wrojng now, there's probably a leak developing in the radiator somewhere. Maybe the suspension is a bit off or cv boots are nearing the time etc.
Also long as the engine and gearbox is fine the rest is easy to fix.0 -

Far from it. Some cars are that cheap because depreciation dictates the price.0 -

and why do you think they depreciate?0 -
Relax, I've sold several cars on ebay from £500 to £8000, the winning bid has never seen the car they have all just come and paid the price bid and driven or trailered the car away.0

Not necessarily because something is wrong with them.
My last car sold for £360 on eBay and had I not wanted a new car I would have been happy running that car for another few years and have no doubt that it would have carried on just fine.
Not saying that's the norm but some cars just aren’t worth a lot of money, mine was a ’99 Civic which were ten a penny on eBay so it was a buyers market.0 -
Virtually everything on E-Bay is bought without seeing it-its an online auction.!0

The only trouble with that is you have at least two nutters trying to outbid each other.0 -
Ive sold a couple of cars on ebay unseen with an honest description with all good points and bad clearly stated and lots of photos. I also offer veiwings and inspections from rac aa etc. Then i put in the description if not as described then walk away. So the buyer is inclined to think im genuine. If either of us aint happy at exchange time then deals off. But i sell cars id stand by.0
