What is a Mondeo bumper made of?

This is my fourth really stupid minor ding (in 15 years of driving).

The majority (actually, all as far as I know) of the scratches etc were put on there by the previous owner. The car looks OK from a few feet away but is a bit tatty close-up, but I am disinclined to fix any of it.
(To the best of my knowledge: slightly loose rear bumper -- yes it's a Mondeo
-- few scratches on the paintwork, couple of stone chips that are not through to bare metal, loose bit of trim on driver's door sill which I did fix as it was annoying me, 10p coin sized dent near the fuel filler where someone has filled up on the 'wrong' side). 0 -

FRP is different to all fiber glass bumpers, FRP is strong and flexible.
all fiberglass bumpers (cheap tat) with gel coats are not as strong and not flexible.0
