I didn't mean get the dings and scruffs fixed, I actually meant I look after my car to avoid things like that. Not parking next to certain cars or in tiny gaps, keeps me ding free so far :)

The majority (actually, all as far as I know) of the scratches etc were put on there by the previous owner. The car looks OK from a few feet away but is a bit tatty close-up, but I am disinclined to fix any of it.

(To the best of my knowledge: slightly loose rear bumper -- yes it's a Mondeo :D -- few scratches on the paintwork, couple of stone chips that are not through to bare metal, loose bit of trim on driver's door sill which I did fix as it was annoying me, 10p coin sized dent near the fuel filler where someone has filled up on the 'wrong' side).
  • Abs plastic is black and is very bendy but firm and resilient, very difficult to crack. So called glass reinforced plastic is aftermarket tat and is white and shatters easily

FRP is different to all fiber glass bumpers, FRP is strong and flexible.

all fiberglass bumpers (cheap tat) with gel coats are not as strong and not flexible.
