That place seems nice, and looking at the site he won't be in a kennel as it says they all live in the house.
I'll ring them tomorrow and donate some money over the phone as I don't have a PayPal account...or thinking could nip to a friends and use their account.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
I ahve emailed them asking if we can have an update as to how the fella is doing (and if I can donate by phone)....didnt want to just ring incase they are busy or getting loads of calls from random people.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0

I emailed the lady at The Dog people last night and she got back to me with an update.
Wufra is making slow but steady progress and gaining weight at the rate of half a kilo a day which is good.
The vet is hesitant to say he will be ok though at this point but is optimistic that he will become strong enough to be operated on and have his leg plated rather than amputated.
He is standing for longer periods and going outside to toilet, but still very weak.
Hope he comes through after all this, poor boy.0 -

Let's hope he will be ok for the surgery to plate his leg rather than amputation. Fingers crossed here.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -

Thanks for the updates.
I love the photo of him under the Christmas tree in his bed.
If he was a cat, he'd have used his 9 lives up.
He must be a really special dog for this lady to decide to take him in because she must see all sorts of dogs in her work for the Dog People.
Lucky boy. :T0 -
Thanks so much for this update! I'm so happy to see Wufra being so well looked after.
How lucky is he, to have been so close to death on that mountain and now to be safe and secure in a warm, loving home.
Thank God there are still people like this lady in the world.
Warms my heart this Christmas season.0
