Wulfra (sp?) is fine, he was actually found not far from where I live and it's my vet who's treating him.
I've seen a picture of him on Facebook (I think from the local RSPCA) and he is actually standing in that one looking more alert. They can't operate on his leg until he is a wee bit stronger.0 -

It does work.....AWwwwwww bless him. how thin does he look poor little man. He has got such a beautiful face. If I was animal-less right now and didn't work full time I would be Hugely tempted to have this boy. One of the most lovely natured dogs I have ever met was a saluki cross and they have always stuck in my head.
I hope he finds a fabulous new owner for life and would spoil him as much as me, but bet he's got a cue of people after him.
If you get to know you must post about his new home etc and ongoing progress, do you know if he has people interested in him?
He'd look fab on my new sofa.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
Works for me too. Soooo pleased to see the little darling standing and being cared for at last.
God love him.
Calicocat, I'd be delighted if someone like you would take him on and give him the life he deserves after such a traumatic time for him.0 -

Aww this link didn't work for me. Must be the settings on my computer. Can anyone please paste the pic on a post?
I'd love to see him looking better.

The little mite was just skin and bone and very possibly just days away from expiring. Naturally, if he was owned by responsible people he would have been chipped, and I doubt the owners are likely to come forward now in case they will have to pay the vet's bill.
What a beautiful looking doggy. I expect there is a queue a mile long of hopeful adopters.0 -

You're right B&T. With the publicity he surely must have been recognised as belonging to someone. Any caring owner would have been frantically searching for him and someone in the local area would have realised he's been reported as missing for 3 or 4 weeks.
Another day or so and his heart might have given out so I'm thankful he was found in time.
And if nobody does care about him enough to want him home, lets hope there IS a queue of people wanting to adopt him!0 -

Thanks Nososharp.
Oh, he's still in a bad way isn't he. I bet they are being careful with the feeding regime to slowly help his body adjust.
He's beautiful. And out of danger you say?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
