Apart from the fact that he needs some TLC what a lovely looking dog, I love saluki crosses, such faces on them. Bet he gets snapped up, hopefully by someone who looks after him for good.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

Poor dog, laying there all that time in so much pain with no food and no hope.So lovely to see people caring so much for just one helpless dog.Wish it happened more often.

Does anyone watch the dog rescuers on channel 5? Some heart rending stories on there but thank god for those who care. That horrible woman on last night, letting those beautiful big dogs get so thin, and deny she was doing anything wrong.I could have cheerfully slapped her!

    Bless him. Those eyes.

How did they find him? Have his owners come forward?

I hope he has a pain free life of love and cherishing from here on.

As far as I know the owners have not, so far, come forward. There are concerns about the scars on the dog's face. The scars suggest he may have been used for coursing, poor little guy.

He was so close to not making it.

I suppose you have to be thankful there are still good people in the world, who will go the extra mile for a poor helpless creature like this dog who can't help himself any more.

He looks so sweet and trusting...it breaks my heart.:(

    Me too.

You do hear so many horror stories about people being cruel to animals, its nice to see this rescue team are decent people who have their priorities right.

He does look sad doesn't he bless him, looks a bit like he was giving up.

On the last one though he looks much more perky.......more of a "well Jesus you lot took your time, thank god you found me"...king of look.

I think he pretty much had given up.

The rescuers said the grass where he'd been lying had started to die, he'd been there so long.

I do hope he will be ok
