    :hello:Hello Rebels:hello:

After a week of no luck I found £1 coin in Asda carpark on Saturday- in plain view! Happy now, my first £1 for the month- and I'm £1.69 'richer' than I was 18 days ago :p.
I also wombled a £5 off £40 for Tescimos on Sunday- I can really use it when I get my DD's present- it was again in plain sight at the self check out- the help staff was looking at me but I just stared back ( I'm well know for my 'evil' look aka 'belfast stare' :rotfl:).

Unfortunatly I have no luck with W/R in our Asda- the ground in the carpark always seems to be wet- it must be norther irish thing :o (because its always raining:rotfl:!)

Here is hoping for more coins / notes;).

Don't let the wet put you off - as long as you can read the barcode. Pick up the receipt carefully and head inside to the hand-drier. We've saved quite a few thus way. X

That's £1.24 you didn't have starting out! That could be a small loaf of bread and a pint of milk! :D. Definitely better than me and my first month of trying this seriously.....I think I found 2 x 2p in the first 2 weeks or so!

Ventured out a bit further to do local shopping for groceries due to potential frosts and snow. Still no money found but got some reduced/cheaper food items at chosen shops ("cash and carry" type).

It will be good to use the money found this month for useful items. Maybe others are doing or considering this?

Yes I'd wondered this too. All my finds are going into paying off my overdraft and I've put all pennies found in a separate purse to make sure I don't waste it. :money:

It's not unreasonable to expect earnings of about £10 a month, so could be a lovely treat for someone on a tight budget using all spare funds to pay off debts and none to treat themselves. If I wasn't in debt I'd probably use it to buy a small luxury like some wine or posh cheese :D

I also had another thought, I hope that we aren't effectively taking money away from homeless people who I've often seen taking money from phone boxes or picking it up from the pavement, so a super :A good thing to do would be to give found money direct to a homeless person or via a homeless charity.

I'm going to save my roadkill finds up until the end of November next year. I'm aiming to have enough to buy at least one Christmas present next year :)

As for London. I arrived into Euston at just gone 5pm and it was virtually impossible to look for roadkill because it was too busy and dark by the time I arrived.

Yesterday was another big fat zero :(

Earlier I walked to post some tennis balls I sold on FleaBay and found a penny coin in the Post Office. I've never been so happy to spot a 1p coin :rotfl:

My monthly total stands at £2.70 :T

Is anyone else having issues with the amount of leaves covering pavements? I also find it hard to search properly when the sun is doing its best to dazzle me.

All my pennies are spent on groceries so when I use vouchers, my roadkill often makes up the difference unless I'm doing a big shop. This lessens the hit to my bank which allows more wiggle room for debt repayments.

Found 12p at lunchtime today! :)
