Just 1p today. This was on top of some soil that I expect the rain had made more to the surface and distinct. Bottle metal tops and round pieces of cardboard from fireworks cause me to look twice.

A few more finds to add, 5p in the corner of a shop I walked in just to look for coins, 5p at the station on the floor in the middle of a ticket barrier, and 20p just now at work. :T Total = £6.36 + 7 te$co points. I have some time to kill after work so will go for a look in town under the cover of darkness mwahaha

Only 6p for me today during my lunchtime walk to the local supermarket. I found both coins within the first couple of minutes.

I've never had much luck either in the carpark or inside my local supermarket.

I did spot the new location for the Coinstar machine. It's now stuck in the far corner of the store near the checkouts that are never used :(

I need to get into Birmingham and pay my university a visit ASAP :D

People will still go out of their way to use it, Emma, and if it's tucked away in a corner, no-one will be watching you while you look for coins! :T Check the floor around it too!

  • another 1p for me today.
  • I haven't left the office at all today, so no finds for me. I do have a cunning plan of running round the field behind my house tomorrow morning to see if anyone attending the fireworks has dropped some money and not realised :)
