Wow, there have been some really impressive finds
I didn't spot any coins while I was out running this morning :(

I then managed to spot a penny coin on top of some dirt outside my local tennis club.

Please tell me that I'm not the only person who recites the first part of "find a penny pick it up, all that day you’ll have good luck, find a penny let it lay and all day long you’ll have bad luck"

Not a great day, hopefully Tuesday will be better.

1p found today so far, an old/ battered penny outside my local garage- I like to find pennies, i believe that they bring luck (well, maybe just small luck ;))

I put a twezer into my handbag and will be re-visiting my local Asda coinstar tonight (out shopping) to 'liberate' the stucked 5p that got away from me on Saturday- dedication or what? :rotfl:

:T Thanks HOK3Y to the awsome challenge, its really addictive! :T

The Asda 'coinstar' 5p was away :( but I did find 5p in Sainbug's carpark while stocking up on reduced Halloween cakes (McVities cakebars/ french fancies etc 30p each) :p.
14p in 4 days- I LOVE free money (and food:))!!!

Good luck to eveybody! Great that somebody already found £5!

Hmmm, second consecutive day with no 'kill.
Met my partner at Wetherspoons for lunch.I looked high and low for pennies:all around the bar, under the condiments table, around people's chairs, entrance, toilets. Not a sausage.
Also went to PO shop, swept around the whole place, paying particular attention to where kids stand, choosing their sweets.Nada.
    Never mind.
It has become abit of an obsession.

Love the idea of someone snatching my token-filled trolley and giving me a pound for it.Might practice standing around trolley bays with trolley+token, hoping someone will pay me for it :rotfl:

Well hubster and I took a walk out this evening. I was already counting 6p roadkill and 54p from an earlier wombled receipt. However, we came home with more receipts which just netted us £1.91, 16p found in various places in and around A$da, plus someone was kind enough to leave 2.10Euros and 50USD cents on the coinstar machine.....both of which I can use! So converting through xe.com puts me at £2.31 roadkill and £2.45 W/R for the day! AWESOME! :D

Plus I have one more receipt to check but I think it's gonna be a duff one......

  • Oooh sign me up for this! This used to be a game I played with my Grandad when we were walking down the street. The other half thinks I'm insane when I stand and wait for traffic to pass just so I can run and grab a 5p find!
