I'm a bit puzzled here, what is it you actually did ? You dont lose anthing when you unlock a phone ??0
-
ive lost all my numbers, pictures, tunes-absolutely everything.
all i did was put the code in.
its a samsung s500i, which i now loath with a passion.
maybe it didnt like the code and there was a malfunction. let me switch it off and back on to see what happens.Respond to every call that excites your spirit.0 -
No way of getting it back,by unlocking the phone you've also re-installed to software.0

Was it a code that did a full eeprom reset ? You do usually lose everything when you do that, rather than a proper unlocking code or solution you dont lose anything0 -
just put another sim in and it doesnt appear to recognise it-phone is telling me to ring sos!
so the unlocking hasnt worked and ive lost everything...?
oh, s**t.

Try this it might work but I've never tested it
try to type in *#9998*masterpwd#
it will enable file manager in the menu 4.2.4 (my settings)
there you will see many functions, such as table reset, restore, etc
try restore and you might get lucky
it will say wrong code, but it still activates the manager, til you reboot the phone0 -

By the way where it says masterpwd in the above code, put the master password which is usually 00000000 dont enter masterpwd as text0 -
thanks for trying to help me. I really hope this works!
i get as far typing *#9998* and then the rest appears as _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
and then it says wrong entry.
