Travel insurance

in Flight delay compensation
I have recently tried to make a claim with Thomas Cook for a 16hr delay but they said i couldn't claim from them because (on the advise of a Thomas Cook branch manager) i claimed through my travel insurance (£20pp) Is this correct?

    Yep, but if you are serious, make your letter a NBA (search the forum for draft) and be prepared to actually take action. They are unlikely to pay out without you taking court action.
