It is the retailers fault - they are creating a contract with the customer and are fully responsible for meeting the offer they make.

I think most companies would have just offered a refund rather than take a considerable hit on a cheap laptop.

Ah well, I chased it up and there were no notes on the system. They are looking into it and chasing it up and will phone me by the end of the day and perhaps email me a voucher instead :money:
