£1000 of Bitcoin bought 9 months ago would now be worth over £20,000

This is not "virtual" gains, but REAL hard cash that could be converted into GBP today, within minutes

It has beaten every other investment (including leveraged property gains) hands down and is unarguable.
The steady increase through the year followed by the current price surge is driven by strong fundamentals and the current bull run probably still has a way to go so it's not too late to buy in.

Very high risk. One for hardened gamblers -- nothing to do with investment IMO.

I thought that when I started looking at Bitcoin this time last year.

After thoroughly researching and liking what I read I eventually "bought in" earlier this year just before the massive spike and cashed out some and made a decent profit.

I no longer consider Bitcoin as an investment or gamble but a genuine contender as an alternative medium of exhange and store of value. I only accept bitcoins as means of payment for my online goods and services and am more than happy holding them, regardless of price fluctuations.

As a fast, secure and decentralised payment system it beats all others hands down and as a proven revolutionary technology is the greatest invention since the internet itself.

If buying bitcoins you should be prepared to lose, it isnt a one way bet
