We have always wanted to live in the beautiful village of Lund, so we made a day of it and looked at three new houses being built by a local builder in the village; my wife brought a friend who knows the area well as he was a policeman in the east riding for many years. We looked at the houses and retired to the pub in the village for lunch, where we discussed the pros and cons of a possible purchase. We were overheard by a couple of ladies who knew the wife’s friend who advised against any purchase from that builder, they went on to explain the builder had changed his company name from REEF HOMES as there had been a lot of legal action regarding several homes and or buildings he and his previous company had been involved in.
They gave us a name of a couple living in a nearby village and advised we contact them; we did by phone through our friend and his contacts, they gave us a solicitor to contact. They also advised to do some digging with the local planning department before we made up our minds on any of the builders properties. We retired to the restaurant where we were served by a very nice person who overheard our conversation, they (as they served our meal) advised (in a low voice) not to buy from that builder as previous purchasers had complained about extreme shoddy and dangerous workmanship, who then had to resort the legal action, as Mr Walker refused to put the deficits right hiding behind several lawyers and solicitors, changing his Ltd company to dodge his responsibilities.
We were now intrigued and decided to look into this and contact the people advised by my wife’s friend and previous customer.
We phoned the solicitor who gave us a name of a Surveyor who in turn gave us another surveyor who worked with Mr Walker who had legal action taken against him because of the REEF HOMES builder, who we now know definitely as a Mr J Walker. All of the above gave sound advice – “do not buy any house from this builder” - we thanked the people we contacted and accepted their advice.
We still are hoping one day to live in Lund but we will now look to an existing house rather than a new one.
We are not saying not to buy any of these three houses, we are saying we are not and would never take a chance with so much adverse advice for so much money.

A lot of this is hearsay. Do you have any links?0 -

I contracted Martin Gray & Debbie (Dee) Gray of Hullavington near Chippenham in Wiltshire who from time to time trade as Hullavington Services to convert my garage into a utility room.
For the first few weeks everything seems to be progressing well apart from the door/window which I have paid for not being installed.
Disappointingly Debbie Gray & Martin Gray have not returned since they left the site with effect from Thursday 26th July 2018 and they have left me with a windowless utility room and an unusable patio which had been dug up in order to extend drainage which has still to be installed.
As from 10th August 2018, Martin & Debbie Gray have not responded to my repeated attempts to communicate with them by text, voice mail or e-mail.
I have provided full details to the local Trading Standards Office and I have contacted the police who did not seem interested in pursuing this matter.0 -
I seem to have fallen foul of them as well. Only a minor job, but they got paid and haven't finished it and fail to reply to my messages.0

Regarding Mr Martin Gray and Dee or Debbie Gray I had to refit facials on a home is Swindon a couple years ago where several thousands of pounds was taken from a woman and witnessed the mess they left her in. heard at time she was taking court action but never seen her since to ask about the outcome. Don’t give up and have you tried contacting them via Facebook etc on for sale pages in there area as that can get a prompt response I’m sure. Good luck and god bless.0

Hmmmmm.... I'm not a conman and I'm not cheap and I have plenty of work.. Oh yes and I'm on my builder .com with 57 feedback at 100% positive. However I DO have a professional limited company established over 15 years.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

STAY WELL CLEAR, i was promised dates to be completed and none were kept to, they made a right mess had to keep onto them to clean up and I ended up doing a lot of it myself. They walked off the job half way through leaving me in a right mess I gave them a week with false promises someone would be there for over a week. They also take money up front i learned the hard way don't give it to them as now I'm out of pocket while trading standards try to help. They fitted electrical boxes incorrectly making them dangerous putting the wires where the screw needs to go, didn't knock off all the bottom of the walls for the damp injection and washed plaster down the drains. I have has to get another builder in to resolve the mess which will cost me a lot more and I no longer have my money for a kitchen.0
