never spend money on a Nokia coz they ALWAYS break, if u get it free from a contract then thats not to bad, i know 4 people that got the Nokia N95 and all 4 of them broke
No they do not ALWAYS break.
I have had loads of Nokias and they have never broken. We all evolve - get on with it0 -
Well my post was mostly aimed at the Nokia N950

why do people say things like this? clearly not all nokias break or they wouldnt be one of the top selling mobile phone manufacturers in the world.
Some poeple will have problems with all types of phones.
back to question in hand. If you can wait when it becomes available on other networks you might get a better deal.0 -

I've had 8 different nokia phones in the last 10 years, none of which broke. the 3 that i still have are all still working after many years of use.
as for N95s, I have two. one is new, but the second one is 8 months old now, and still working perfectly.
maybe you just treat your phones badly or something, but i've NEVER had a problem with a nokia phone.0 -
I just wondered around my local town looking for a new phone (been looking for a while) and I went into 3 store knowing n95 was £24pm on 3, I asked the geezer in the store asking for a discount, he said he carnt give them for n95 because they are the cheapest out of all the networks and it is the bets phone out atm.
Anyway, after a while we got chatting and i said i wont be able to afford it after i leave 6th form and he said 'well i carnt tell you when but soon the n95 contract will be going down' i got it out of him that it will be in Feb 08 and it will go to £22pm
All other contracts on 3 will go down by a few pounds in Feb as the geezer said to be feb is the worst time for mobile shops
Another topic......I am currently looking for a 5mp camera phone for below £170, or £15 a month contract, any reccomendations would be greatly appreciated.
thanks0 -
As a very low user (about £5 per month payg; hardly any texts) I quite want the N95 for mobile internet. I see in my local adtrader I could get a secondhand newish one for £230. Assuming it was unlocked, what would be the best contract could I get to run its features or could I have payg still? Is it dearer doing it this way than getting a brand new one with a contract? Minutes and texts are virtually worthless to me, as is picture messaging. But I would use the internet A LOT while out and about, probably mostly not near a wifi hotspot.
Any advice appreciated.
(I looked at the SPV M500 which also has a keyboard but that goes for over £100, is older and presumably still needs a contract to go with it)
I don't really understand mobile contracts, the only time I had one on a cashback phone I didn't really make calls so it was paying for nothing. I lost no time in cancelling at the end of the contract. (Vodaphone).0 -
seems like a obsolute steal with all them minutes
http://www.e2save.com/contract-mobile-phone/Nokia-N95-Clearance/N95CLSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
It's a cashback deal, so nothing is guaranteed and also the phone is a clearance model.0
