Rubbish, a manufacturer/retailer cannot invalidate your warranty unless the change directly impacts on the failure.

A simple analogy, you buy a new car and change the stereo to a new
DVD multichanger and your engine blows up. Unless the manufacturer/retailer can prove that you changing the stereo directly contributed to the engine blowing up, then they haven't got a leg to stand on.

Nope, black N95 is the 8GB version and has more ram, different screen, different battery and different case plus operating system.

Voda have exclusivity until Jan 2008, so either buy off of them or ebay until then.
  • As far as I know, the official changeable covers for the Nokia N95 don't come in a black version...buying a cover for the N95 8GB Black wouldn't work either, since it has an ever so slightly larger screen than the original.

  • Yes! the N95 is £199 without Copilot so it's probably meant to be £299 on that tariff.
if i had known then what i know now
  • just got a deal from vodafone today
    20 quids/month on 12 month contract
75 mins plus stop the clock and vodafone passport
but I need to pay 120 quids for the new Nokia N95 8G version
Does it worth that or anybody recommend a better deal?
  • never spend money on a Nokia coz they ALWAYS break, if u get it free from a contract then thats not to bad, i know 4 people that got the Nokia N95 and all 4 of them broke
