Declaring a total of 173.82/224.00 really really pleased. I think this is the first month of underspend. Budgeting, meal planning and doing a weekly amount instead of a monthly amount has really helped. See you all in December0

Help:- has the December page been posted yet, I can't find it. I'm not pushing just don't want to miss it.

Just 65p spend today on a local paper. My dad comes to see the dog for me on Thursdays & Fridays when I'm at work. I buy a paper for him to read as a thank you. Lot cheaper than a dog walker. Only 3 days to go & I still have over £50 of my budget0

Spends of £6.34 in Sainsbobs (inc. 2 x 50p Daily Mirrors for the Ald! coupons), then £37.20 in Ald! (after £5 off). Didn't have time to go to Tesco so will have to do that at the weekend. Takes me to £140.13 this month, but another ~£10 to be spent.
Did anyone else get the Daily Mirror? Thought the vouchers were good this time - 500g icing sugar for 47p, and a big jar of mincemeat for £1.25 are real bargains!November GC: £50.55/£130. October GC: £72.60/£150

Hello everyone,
CONGRATULATIONS to people who managed to stick under their desired budget this month.
I have to admit to a £10 overspend this month which is not so bad considering its the first month of participation.
I will adapt the 'Grocery purse' method for December, just means that its much easier to keep track and knowing how much is left till the end.
This is also the first month in over 2 years where I didn't have to use the overdraft on my current account, so very proud!Nov GC - £68.48 / £1200 -
