My final post for November and I have managed another NSD.
So I am closing at 223.35/240. This means only £6.65 under after feeding the 'DS with Hollow Legs' for nearly a fortnight so don't feel too bad. :rotfl:
The £6.65 goes to my Bulk Buy budget which should go some way to paying for Chrissy I hope. j)
I'm off to update my signature and then drift over to December.
'Mixed Freezer Soup' (LO bits and pieces) for Tea with a fresh 'part-baked' baguette, then a bit more comfort food - Banana Custard - to use up last of the bananas.
HAPPY ST ANDREW'S NIGHT
Hey Lynne, it amazes me how much difference one more person makes to food shopping - but you've short changed yourself of £10 by my maths :A so you might be more under budget than you thought:T

Decided to run from the first of the month to the last day (yesterday), as that's what i've been doing on the this challenge since the start. So will stick with what i know. So for the first time ever, i have come under budget by £28.16 :j:T. This is down to working, no AF spends or cleaning spends at Cloud 9; and practically no trips with my Dad to the SM, apart from today which will be Dec budget. So woohoo to me ... and big  to everyone else that has come in under budget, and good luck for the worst month of the year - December.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £75.94/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. I've done really well this last month, coming in around £17 under budget. I am carrying over my remaining budget to this week though, an attempt to keep next months budget in control for Christmas.
Over to the next challenge for me!0 -
A few spends today. Mostly on Christmas presents but some grocery stuff. £1.30 in B**ts. £5.14 in Mr A and £3.15 in Mr T. This brings my November total to £418.02. So I'm £41.98 under budget. :j
I gave myself £120 per week in October and then £115 in November. I'm going to be brave & go down to £110 for December. I really do think more when shopping now. If I'm tempted by something & it's not on my list I think whether I've already got something at home that would do.
A big well done to everyone on here who is trying to budget. I'm off to December now. Bye.0 -
It looks like I may be the last person left in the November thread - and I will still be here until Friday!
Had to take DD shopping on Saturday for her Food Tech assessment - she has to write about her 'shopping experience' as part of it, so had to spend money on stuff for her to cook on Thursday. Also bought a few bits for the food collection so spent £7.69. Then spent £44.89 this morning, including some gammon to roast because I forgot to defrost the pork I had intended to have today.
Plan for the week -
Mon - roast gammon, roast pots from the freezer, kale and carrots.
Tues - honey glazed salmon with couscous, sweetcorn and carrots
Weds - lamb curry, rice, kale
Thurs - smoked fish crumble, new pots, broccoli, butternut squash (if not too expensive)
Fri - turkey meatballs and pasta. carrots, sweetcorn
Sat - lentil, mushroom and spinach lasagne (new recipe)
Sun - turkey breast stir fry, rice, stir fry veg
I'll go over an have a nose at how you are all doing in December!May spend - £291.40/£320.00
June spend - £106.40/£320.000 -
last post for nov...not too bad a bit more than usual but some christmas bits purchased so hopefully that will all help in december
