    Hi all,

Been a busy father day. DDs have really enjoyed spoiling Daddy. He got breakfast in bed, then childfree morning as I took them both to church. My girls have made cards, DD1 inisited that daddy was going to be given water pistols (which meant us buying them yesterday whilst it was tipping down with rain!), and chocolates (he doesn't like chocolate but the rest of us do, and you shouldn't give a present you wouldn't want to recieve! :rotfl:). Present from me was I didn't object when DH banned me from computer (I do spent alot of time lurking). However it's all quiet at mo so have snuck on.

Hugs for all of you who need them, especially Jet and those of you who have lost your Dads (whether passed on or not in touch).

((((((((Hugs))))))))) to every one who needs them - especially Jet!

MushyPeas I know it's a large amount of money but a good mattress is so worth it - ours has transformed our sleep.

Fallen off the OS wagon a bit the past two nights - we've had takeaway:o In our defense last night we had headed back to the in-laws to fix their computer and to see my sister-in-law - the poor thing's been a bit poorly lately, she's epileptic and had a nasty fit. Much application of tea and sympathy required!

Anyway, did a big stock up at Mr T's and now have no excuse, so we're having aubergine pasta for tea. I also have packed lunches planned for the rest of the week - I got a baguette and have sliced it into rounds. So in the morning, I'm going to grill it and put slices of goats cheese on it, pack up a salad and dressing in a little bottle!

DH has been super today in helping tidy up the house, which was a bit of a tip. Feel bad because I snapped at him over it:o

Thanks for all the good wishes I had last week when I had problems at work - after a good chat with my boss everything is sorted!

    Evening all.
Phew what a lovely day, spent the morning tidying up the house and garden, nipped to garden centre and had a good look round even though there wasnt much we needed.
Then came home and had hot dogs with loads of onions for dinner, and sat in garden chilling out whilst watching the kids play basketball.
Had roast beef for dinner, and its now 7.20pm and all 6 of us are bathed and pj`ed,packed lunches done, uniforms all layed out ready for morning and school bags packed!!!!
Feeling pretty pleased with what we have got done.
My sister has phoned me again today to say sorry and listen to what i had to say, she seems ok with me but is mad with my mum still, and i dont quite think she gets what im trying to tell her, but we will have to see what happens.
My brother in law hasnt been up as planned, hes had a bad day as my sister in law phoned his mum (dh mum) to let her know whats happening as she didnt have a clue and we didnt like to tell her, of cause she is worried now and is coming over from lincs where she lives on tuesday and staying at ours so she can go and see bil and see if she can convice him to go over to hers to chill out for a week or so. I cant see him agreeing but we are all hoping he will listen to his mum.

    Hugs to everyone
Hope you have all had good days, iv not read all the thread yet so hugs to anyone who needs one((()))

Hi GB, hope you are ok.

Been at my friend's all day writing an essay. Got 1000 words done and planned the rest and she looked at my other one I wrote and she thinks it is good neough.

Been home for 1 hour now and just been surfing online. Right, must get myself together and do some boring accounting stuff, such as booking train tickets etc. Then back on the train tomorrow :(

Thanks for the tip seraphina, makes me feel a bit better!

MP I was discussing beds with my Osteopath a week ago, and she said, that Tempur was a brand name, they offered a money back guarantee, but you paid oot for it. Other makes of the memory foam were also good, cost less, but had no money back guarantee. She said very few people disliked them once they got them, but very few got on with the pillows. She suggested going around all the local bed shops and comparing, not to be embarrassed and try them all out in the shop.
So I asked what she had, and she admitted that she had changed when money had been tight, so had gone for one which was "half and half", top half memory foam, and bottom half spring mattress, which they were very happy with. Personally I haven't seen any of these (or looked) but they may be a solution.

Hi, another late one from me.

Lots of latehugs as quite a few have needed them here today.

We went to church this morning and then my parents came over to spend the rest of the day with us. We had a lovely joint of ham cooked in pineapple juice with roasties and veg followed by some yummy/fattening deserts from Asda.

I watched Tiswas last night and laughed all of the way through it. I saw John Gorman (the bald scouser) a few months a go in the Liverpool Philamonic Hall. He was sitting in front of me alongside Mike McCartney and I was dying to shout 'Compost Corner' at him...but I chickened out!

I'm working a full week this week as I owe a few days to my job-share partner, so I'll be on my knees by Friday! All of our meals are planned and consist of lots of hm things from the freezer but I don't think I'll get much OS done this week.
