Eating out of the freezer and cupboards challenge - part two

Thanks caronc for the message. Also, hi to Highland Fling. Good Luck.
No spend day. Tidied up the fridge contents today. Some went into the freezer whereas other bits which had been previously made for the wild birds went out to their feeding area.0 -
Oh Highland Fling, so pleased I am not the only one. Just prepped 1 kg carrots, some maple batons, rounds and chunks. Bag of peelings to make stock, about 5 bags of soup. Why have I bought a pork joint and a gammon joint (only me) made mincemeat ^ ginger squares - frozen now, love to prep and cook but then seem to lose interest. Was thinking of putting some stew in SC whilst I am out for lunch and that would make 2 or 3 so you have helped me to not do it, will take one of the already frozen jacket pots out for tea instead. Thanks.x0

For my mini challenge, I have 2/3 left of the remaining 1 sweet beignet. Two freezer drawers are still empty. The other two drawers largely consists of previously made recipes, so that makes three of us!0

For my mini challenge, just 1/2 left of the remaining 1 sweet beignet recipe which is divided into three portions.
Had an errand today but didn't also go to the nearby supermarket therefore no spend day. Have begun to make a list of previously prepared freezer food items (i.e. made before 7/12/17) that I have now had. Don't know, at this stage, if three empty freezer drawers will be empty by end 2017.0 -
As I wondered, the winter weather has prevented my usual local weekend shopping so no food purchased. Consequently, an opportunity to use up what I have. The completion of my mini challenge is still in progress. My (above) mentioned list of previously prepared freezer food (made before 7/12/17) now had = 4 recipes.0

Previously prepared freezer food now had = 5 recipes. (Batch cooked so several of each).
Mini challenge = just one portion to finish from the selected 15.5 selected food items.
End of year challenge to have three empty freezer drawers = looking difficult but could be 2.5 drawers instead?
Not much food purchased since my last post and next expected online (food) spend will be in two weeks.0 -

Went out yesterday to the charity shop and also called at two food shops. Nothing purchased.
Thanks caronc. It really doesn't seem that way sometimes! However, I am determined to keep on progressing.0 -
Previously prepared freezer food now had = 8 recipes (Batch cooked so several of each).
No weekend local food shopping as yet due to icy roads (unsafe for bicycle errands).0 -
Oops thought it was Saturday when I did my last post. The ice had cleared by the weekend. Just one "yellow sticker" vegetable food purchase was made during the weekend.
Previously prepared freezer food now had = 10 recipes (Batch cooked so several of each).
14 days to go to see if 3 from 4 freezer drawers can be emptied by the end of the year.0
