Quick report of today's achievements...all small stuff, but it adds up.

    - Heating off all day
    - Washing all done and dried on the line (rain didn't materialise)
    - 2 things ironed, everything put away
    - Housework completed
    - Tea and free cake eaten (twice :o:rotfl:)

Weather looks good for tomorrow here, so the plans at the moment are:
    - cut the grass
    - possibly clean one or both cars
    - go through wardrobe and bring spring/summer items together
    - catch up on some surveys, IP and nectar search
    - engagement party to go to tomorrow evening

Looks like we'll be going to London on Tuesday - the 'didn't get organised in time' meet up that was due in March :rotfl: . Will get tickets on Monday from tourist info office as cheapest way, though DS has a schoolfriend coming over for a while.

TV night tonight, peppered with spreadsheet tinkering! :D

Hope everyone has had a good day. :)

 at that 80 year old lady dancing on BGT!

Good luck with the lottery :D I'd say the same if I ever remembered to buy a ticket :rotfl:

I am sooo relieved about DS's laptop, probably burnt up a few thousand calories in stress as well, certainly got my heart rate up! :rotfl:

All chilled here now though...candlelight, cuppa and more cake... :o

    Late update for today.

Spent most of it cleaning both cars - including polishing and a gloss coat on top, wheels coated in anti brake dust stuff and glass done as well. They both look fab and such a gorgeous day too.

Grass has had to wait, will need a sickle if I leave it much longer though :rotfl:. Similarl with wardrobe re-organisation.

    Other financials:-
    - bank account checked - monthly use CC full payment goes out tomorrow
    - freepostcodelottery checked
    - nectar adpoints - finishing the week on 57
    - nectar search - up to 90/100
    - nectar canvass - haven't looked
    - nectar card - still at £52.97
    - Inbox Pounds - up to £12.51
    - Qmee - another 16p in the bag

Lovely party tonight for niece's engagement with 2 cakes, so had to have a piece of each as you do ;). Caught up with some very old friends and DS even had a bath and hairwash in time for it :rotfl:

DB is changing his car (it is on it's last legs) and guess what, he's having the next size up to mine but same colour and model - just a case of what was available on a great deal.

Heating hasn't been on at all today with the gorgeous weather - a few more days of that are due, so hopefully we'll have even lower readings next weekend.

Hope everyone has had a good day. :)

A lovely first day off of the Easter break for me. Glorious sunshine, no heating on, doors and windows open, doglets lazing on the patio, DS happy with his friend here - lovely. :)

Even better as it's very rare that I have a clean house, clean cars and a garden with grass freshly cut and few weeds - but I have as spent today doing the garden/grass/brushing and tidying up out there. :j

Plus it's been another NSD as London meet up date has moved forward and tickets not needing to be bought until later in the month.

Which just leaves my wardrobes to run through and sort the spring/summer stuff together, which I'm going to do shortly.

    Financials:
    - bank account checked - monthly use CC paid in full
    - freepostcodelottery checked
    - Nectar adpoints - to look at
    - Nectar search - still at 90/100, will complete that tonight
    - Nectar canvass - 20 pointer done
    - Nectar card - a nice jump to £53.76 - British Gas have given me 100 points but not sure what for!
    - Inbox pounds - up to £12.84
    - Qmee - another little 10p in the pot :)

Ooh, have got a referral email and link for P!necone Research if anyone would like it. They're particularly interested in Mums with child(ren) under 3 years old.

And they also sent through another survey to do - so that's £3 to the pot from the points which I'll convert to Paypal payout. :T

Keeping on top of work stuff too, so all in all, an enjoyable and productive day.

Plans for tomorrow include taking sports car to local indie garage to discuss/book service and a couple of possible issues (might just be to do with lack of use), weekly food shop at Ald! and then either I shall gear up for a car boot at the weekend or start on prepping the kitchen/utility for decorating. We've a good run of free days, excluding DS having a haircut on Thursday, so want to make best use of the time.

Hope everyone has had a good start to the week. :)

I had white last time which I think is probably as bad as black! I'd say silver and light blue metallic are the only 2 colours I've had that don't look too dirty when they are.

Hopeful cars will stay clean until the weekend at least as no rain due. Mind you, sports car stays clean all year round - only comes out when it's dry and I try to avoid dusk driving so it doesn't get covered in bugs. :D

Hope you're enjoying your new one - can't see the dirt from inside anyway :D

Just completed nectar search, so another 50p for that and bagged 30 points for the new week on adpoints. Wardrobes next after a cuppa (and last piece of free cake :D)

:hello: Welcome back to MSEland :D

Good job you weren't around the other weekend, I was in the depth of gloom. Onwards and upwards though, I have a loose plan to finish off some 'To Do's' from December and February...at some point :rotfl:
