I've still to do bike but will do that once lunch settles. I've just wakened my DS as he ends up turning night into day and gets so bloody moany with it. He's already moaning that I didn't waken him earlier. I can't win :rotfl:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Snap with DS :rotfl::rotfl: and enjoy your bike ride. I caught up on returning Happy New Year texts
.
Just had lunch - baked potato and using up some fridge stuff - delicious crumbled wensleydale with cranberries cheese on it, side of coleslaw and sour cream with chives. Oh and flat mushrooms! Bit of a mix but was quite tasty really :rotfl:
Tree and decs are also now down, cards in a pile ready to turn into tags. Have hoovered and moved the coffee table and lamp back into place. Glad I didn't do the usual major furniture move, we put the tree in a different place this year.
Nice choices now - jigsaw or afternoon napBack on the DFW Wagon:

Afternoon Diary
I opted for the jigsaw yesterday afternoon - it's a 1000 piece of 20 cup cakes and has turned out to be a bit like debt busting except quicker, 10% achieved, 20% achieved...I've got to about 45% now :rotfl: and DS has done a few bits too.
Had a reasonably early night as trying to get back into the 10-6 sleep pattern ready for school and work return next Tuesday. DS informs me he's been falling asleep between 1-3am
Today I've caught up on work stuff, we've had another lunch of using up fresh foods (scrambled eggs on toast) and I've cycled 20 mins/7 miles on the bike.
Back into the swing of reporting the financials too:
- Bank account checked and DS's maintenance is in :j. Increased pension payment DD gone out and I want to find out if I can do an internet payment to my ISA to match that monthly as retirement savings
- Nectar card up a tad at £25.38 (107 points from use and pay off monthly CC statement)
- Nectar Search - will start that again as 200 points per month available and often brings up the Qmee sites at 5/6/7p a time
- Nectar Canvass - not sure if I'm going to do these or not this year, though my free turkey/Christmas bits for 2015 will be in jeopardy if I don't get to £70
- Inbox Pounds - small steps up at £3.67
- Qmee - still at 24p in the pot
Nothing else to report, other than another NSD here today.
Tomorrow is housework. DS still needs to finish a few thank you cards and have his hair cut. I've got to go to the office and take the tree down at some point - possibly Monday or when I officially start back on Tuesday.
Time to put the kettle on and do a bit more of the jigsawHope everyone is having a good day.

Morning Diaryland
I completed the jigsaw puzzle last night :j and headed for an early night and was up @ 7am, feeling the best I have done in quite a whileLong may it last!
I went on a 5 mile tour of the local area :rotfl: to:
- Fill up with fuel £29.51 - price drop to 108.9p a litre at Morries
- Swap some lovely (but very bright) socks pack DS had for Christmas for his preference of plain black ones at N3xt on the Retail Park
- Get broccoli and Danish bread as run out of both from the local Sbugs - £1.40 spent
Lovely and quiet out there at 8.30am, though it's raining, cold and very dull. Back for breakfast - porridge with golden syrup and a lovely cuppa :coffee:
Gammon taken out of the freezer for Sunday dinner tomorrow night and a batch chilli for tonight. Both crossed off the inventory list, though I'm good at forgetting to do that bit
Bank account checked and interest of £13.79 has been added :j I've done a TT of £3.40 to the Savings Pot, taking that to £65.51.
So it's 'Housework Saturday' - washing, bins, towels etc all to do but no rush. Cards to cut for labels and then those and decs can go back in the loft. Most amount of energy will be used chivvying DS along to finish his thank you cards . Given up on getting him to the barbers for a hair cut - he clearly knows how to chill out :rotfl:
Got my cycling to do too. Can see the day going by quick again! Hope everyone has a good one.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Glad to hear you're feeling well.
I cannot even remember the last time I spent less than £30 filling a car up with fuel. :rotfl:2018 totals:

It's been a productive day with cleaning the bathroom and cloakroom added to the jobs planned and crossing them off my Christmas break To Do list :j
Cycled 20 mins and 7.2 miles today as well.
Heading for a pampering eve - realise I have quite a few Cl@rins products (used to be a regular purchaser of them back in the early 2000s but now I receive them only as gifts for birthdays and Christmas) so it's off for a relaxing bath with some posh bubbles, face mask and paint my toe nails.
I might even treat myself to opening a box of Christmas chocs tonight after a day of healthy eating (so far....:rotfl:).
One of my e-cigs is playing up so looks like I'll need to head into town tomorrow or Monday to get that looked at and pick up some more 'juice'. They've got some flavours on sale too, so might pick up extra. I know it'd be better to give up entirely.
First job is to rescue the cloakroom toilet roll that Springy is wandering around with or we'll have our own live Andr3x advert :rotfl: :eek:Back on the DFW Wagon:

Me neither Alex - usually it's about £35-£40, so a combination of not being quite in the red and the price drop meant a pleasant surprise for a change
But bet all of yours have larger tanks - mines only a 7 gallon I think.Back on the DFW Wagon:

I was £1.11 per litre yesterdy but am still very very happy with that. My labels are done but tbh not that many of my cards were suitable this year. I had about 10 cards and ended up with only 6 tags. Never mind. Still 6 less that I need to buy. Good news that you feel so well5 Year plan. It's good to see fuel dropping after it being so very expensive for so long. I still remember when we could buy it in gallons and £10 filled the tank  £1.11 is what the local Sbugs is but go a mile in the opposite direction and Morries are beating them hands down. Pence works out more than the Nectar points in this case.
Shame not so many tags this year - I've created about 25 out of 30+ cards - a few of those triple fold fancy ones I couldn't use. But defo a saving and you did well with your bargains on the wrapping paper. Haven't bought a thing for next Christmas - this time last year I'd got all the pressies in the sales and was ready .
I'm ecstatic that I feel well and normal today :j fingers and toes crossed it continuesBack on the DFW Wagon:

Both Triumphs cost about £60 to fill so not too bad. However, there's little change from £80 when the 5 Series is filled and it's always over £100 to fill the Discovery. These are filled almost every week.
Prior to buying my current 300TDI Discovery, I ran a V8 one everyday which used to cost about £150 per week in petrol. It did about 12-15mpg. Lovely sounding thing and quite a bit quicker but not really worth double the fuel cost.2018 totals:
