Good Morning Ms. OK
I am feeling a little sheepish this morning so I thought I had better be a little formal too!!
I wanted to knock on your door to tell you how I value and soooooo enjoy your posts.
I had a DD gunning for me all day and by the time we got to mid evening my mood was not great. The result was that for a moment I doubted everything in life and thought you were a professional 'MSE-chatter.' I am not suggesting such people exist but my immediate reaction was 'oh no....I thought she was my friend who was talking to me out of choice!' I felt a bit deflated.
I have woken up knowing I was wrong and I want to send my love, respect and most profuse apologies. I hope you can see my 'deluded' and 'mistaken' reaction was in a way the highest compliment served up in the most unacceptable way.
Please forgive me and come over to my thread again....regularly(please)

Thanks Brogden. I have to say, I still don't have a clue how you came to the conclusion you did, but it's in the past now, apology accepted, so let's all move on and forget it.Back on the DFW Wagon:

It's been quite a productive day and a No Spend one, so that's a good end to the week.
Ironing done (just DS's shirts) and the big job of Christmas present wrapping is all done too. I need 2 not 3 more presents, so that is good news and still to get money wallets and sort those. Nearly there now.
INOD, the one for my Mum is from DS and it's rare she finds something she wants. Are they all that difficult?! I give her money towards help she has at home, which is a bit of a get out really
Financials:
- bank acount checked - use and pay off monthly CC payment goes out tomorrow
- freepostcodelottery checked
- Nectar - oops nothing again
- Inbox Pounds - £1.15
- Qmee - some moreanother 6p and 77p in the pot now
Braising steak and veg almost ready to dish up so it's to the kitchen for me and need to make the muffins tonight as well.
Hope everyone has had a good day and is ready for the new week.Back on the DFW Wagon:

The week has run away and it's been full on from morning til night.
Busy work week since Tuesday so that's the days gone. Evenings have been parents eve, cash and carry and one late evening at work.
DIY house bits are coming on great guns - nothing has been straight forward though so all taking more time, but jobs are getting done and tomorrow the insulation above the kitchen, utility and garage goes in. A cost of £80 - on offer so £20 worth was freebut the saving in heating and having a warmer kitchen and utility room will be well worth it.
DS has had glowing feedback from his teachers and great predictions and has so many options to choose from for his GCSEs. He's in the first tranche of the new exams that come in, so it's going to be a bit of unknown really but they're already working towards it in class which is great to hear.
Not much to report on the financials really - Inbox Pounds have processed the £20.10 cheque so that'll probably arrive either Saturday or Monday to bank and pay off the CC.
We've been eating out the freezer this half of the week and won't get to do a food shop until Saturday as things stand.
Left body side problems again today though and even the prescription anti-inflammatories have only taken the edge off of it. So it's to bed shortly with the heat pad and fingers crossed that helps.
True to form, work has ramped right up and it's full on from here on in until Christmas now. Only 4 weeks and 2 days to go until I get a good 12 day break and my goal is not to write To Do lists and try and get loads done during that time! We've weekends of people coming for lunch etc starting on the 7th December, so plenty of roast turkey practice and no doubt will be fed up of it by Christmas Day :rotfl:
Hopefully catch up more on others diaries at the weekend though the porch roof tiles and lead flashing are being sorted from where the clematis was taken down and revealed some of the branches had got underneath it  so I'll be on tea and muffin making duty again.
Hope the week is being kind to everyone.Back on the DFW Wagon:

We certainly do deserve a break over Christmas SS, I think downtime for me means I don't worry or stress about stuff, though no doubt I'll find something creeps in!
Hope you're having a good weekend too Beanie, Christmas has taken over here now and focus is on finishing Christmas gifts and annoying myself over wishing I hadn't thrown out the really old baubles and tinsel in the loft declutter - as I want to get a tree for the office this year and that would have saved me some money.
You were brave reading all my waffle MiT, fortunate too that I've hardly posted this past week. I was annoyed on your behalf about the lack of maintenance and your work review, will be hopping back over to your diary to see how the latter is going.

The weekend catch up:
Saturday - Inbox Cheque for £20.10 arrived, Qmee got up to 89p so I transferred that and add in the £4 odd from £co that came in, I've set up a payment for £25 to come off the CC tomorrow. :j
Porch roof work didn't happen as heavy rain was forecast all day, however it pretty much stayed dry in the end - typical isn't it. That'll be done on another day now.
I did some billable work later on, then it was chilli from batch for dinner and a very early night. Pain and overwhelm = too tired to think. And a No Spend Day too. :j
Today I felt much more refreshed and with the brain cell back to life :rotfl: decided it was the best and last chance to hit town before it goes mad with traffic queues and shop chaos. Was a good call as Card Factory have their Christmas cards at half price - didn't even notice a sign :rotfl: and only know from the till receipt!
Family Christmas cards and money wallets - £7.07
W!lkos - stocked up on dog treats for up until Jan, few cleaning bits, some Christmas tree decs/tinsel and bird food for Mum - £23.33
Wanted another fairy for the top of the tree, as one of the dogs had feasted on it this week  but they didn't have what I was looking for.
Primark - Handwarmers :j:j:j I've been looking for these for ages, so 2 for me and 2 for DS for his Christmas stocking - £1 each. Plus cushions for the office sofa, lights for the office tree and a onesie Ssshhh :rotfl: I've always said no, never, not in this house :rotfl: Erm, not anymoreSpent £21.50
And £9.99 in the local shoe shop for fluffy moccasin slippers. DS is buying those for me for Christmas
Will finish my wrapping and do the money wallets this afternoon as I popped to the cashpoint and got the money out for those. I also got another present when I was at C0stco, which left me with 1 to get, but got that in Ald! with the food shop.
Financials then:
- bank account checked
- freepostcodelottery checked
- Inbox Pounds - £1.58
- Nectar Search - finally started that and on 20 points
- Nectar Card value £72.68
- Qmee - 12p in the pot already
So I'm just left with getting a tree for the office, 2 fairies or similar for the tops of both trees and a few more decorations.
Only 2 weeks until the first Christmas dinner I need to cook, then 3 weeks until the "big one". It's all rolling around a bit quick now and I'm chocca with work
Ooh I did the food shop Friday night in the end, but spent a whopping £49.56. £8.80 was a lamb leg, £4.99 was the last Xmas present and about £12 was 2 large bags of their new dog food for working dogs - this is perfect for the Springy and is VAT free, hence lower cost than the normal food. I've now got 4 large bags stocked up.
Just need to write a list (oh dear there I go :rotfl:) of food needed for the various weekends and over the Christmas break. And then prepare for the sales and buying next year's presents :rotfl:

Evening Diary,
Pleased to report my neck and shoulder feel better today, but goodness I'm still so tired/unbalanced and feels like it's going to be a very hard slog to Christmas and a much needed break.I hope I can keep going until then.
I managed to finish all the present wrapping, money wallet filling and christmas card writing yesterday - just need to wrap DS's stocking bits and find his stocking.
I've got a list of things to buy still ranging from the tree for the office to silly things like hair scrunchies as I seem to be down to my last one and can't find the rest anywhere  I ordered a couple of bits online yesterday to help that on it's way.
Financials:
- bank account checked. £25 gone to CC, that's now down to £1760 and I'll update sig in a moment
- freepostcodelottery checked
- Nectar Search up to 40/100
- Nectar card still £72.68
- Inbox Pounds - up a tad £1.75
- Qmee, another 5p and up at 17p in the pot
I've also set up a mortgage capital payment of £1,138 for 1st December. It could change between now and then, but playing with figures it looks safe to do that. What a whopper for last one of 2014
Letter in the post with an appointment for DS to see the Paediatrician - positive about this one as lots has progressed with seeing the Pain Consultant, Podiatrist and Physio. All good and his insoles are helping him.
It's been a No Spend Day too. Realise I need to update my clothes challenge spend in my sig and on the thread as the onesie was £8 in Pr!marni yesterday.Mentioning it twice is twice too many, but it is cosy even though I look ridiculous :rotfl: :rotfl:
Springy is wolfing down the new working dog food, so that's a great hit. Lower protein content which means he's a bit less bouncy - great news as in the winter it can sometimes only be one walk rather than two per day.
Off to update sig with clothes, food and CC reduction.Back on the DFW Wagon:
