My girlfriend needs 'a device'
Comments
-
She only ever surfs the web, plays with photos (not editing them) and plays a bit of music. She wants a device that she can just use on the Sofa. She want's a 'proper keyboard' and would like a touch screen. She prefers 13-14" screen
Have you tried a Microsoft Surface? Windiows8 and touchscreen are, despite what doomongers say, a quality combination. Perhaps the screen is too small? Or perhaps the lack of a permanent keyboard rules it out (connect any old USB keyboard as required). If you haven't tried one I suggest you give it a go.

EDIT: usable disk space is small too if you will have lots of music/film/photos.0 -

We have looked at them yes. The screen is too small and I'm concerned about how stable it will be sitting on the sofa with it on her lap. Disc space isn't really an issue as I have a drive connected to our wireless networ.0 -

We decided to leave it until after christmas in the end. Unfortunately the price on this one hasn't moved. Is it still the best option?0 -
