Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week or getting motivated when it comes to housework then come and join us.
Thank you Natty for last week's thread
There are 3 levels per day with depending on how much time you have. Feel free to mix and match to suit your own personal circumstances.
Every room comes back around next week so please don’t stress about catching up
These lists are only suggestions and not a must do list; you are more than welcome to post and follow your own lists.
Also adding a declutter mission each day will help to gradually clear the clutter and make flying easier.
A few of the basics before we start the week:
Hotspots are areas where if one thing gets put there, loads of other things follow!
Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc.
Night-time routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.
Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a bin bag and whiz around the house finding items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.
Swish and swipe/S&S means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis
HHE/HHC/HHI Half Hour exercise/challenge/ironing ... run around for 30 minutes to the Benny Hill music frantically cleaning exercising or ironing.. other music may be used if you prefer!

Thanks for the new thread.
Going to try and be in this week but working from my own lists as its half term here and I have to start the Christmas shopping otherwise DD can't be involved since she's hardly here between school and being away before Christmas.
Not sure what's going to happen when but tomorrow is a homework day (with no TV) for DD and I'll be getting on with paid stuff & ironing. The forecast is for rain all day so it makes senseWill have to wait and see what else I can fit in.
Off to juggle washing again...:wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Please can I be included, once I've dug myself out.0

Thank you for the new list, Dusty, and for last week's, Natty.
We have worked hard today to clear the upstairs bedrooms so that the electrician can put in some extra sockets and remove a couple of dodgy old ones. I have just made our bed in the downstairs boudoir - might have to hunt for it when I want to fall into it in about half an hour's time because it's so well camouflaged by the matching emulsion on the walls :rotfl:
Tomorrow I have to strip wallpaper upstairs. Then, after the carpenter has finished re-hanging the door to clear the carpet, I must clean the ensuite. Then I must tidy the table (aka my temporary desk) in the DR which is my currently my RoD. Meanwhile OH will be going on another expedition to the tip...
Spoons on the side - big, little, wood, plastic, metal - please help yourselves. Sticks for BDs are in a heap outside the front door where it's easy to lob them a long way downhill.
