My OH voicemail isn't working. When he presses 1 the number is not recognised and he's told to try again.

He rang O2 and they told him to enter **61*......... and send. But they didn't tell him where to send it.

Can anyone help?

I'm pretty sure you have to send it to his mobile phone numebr but in international format (+44) then his phone number minus the first 0

if that doesnt work then I'm sure you can call 1750 to get it set up.

They would mean 'send' as in the green button for call, but can't think what code that is for? Jay Marsh is correct, dial 1750 to set up voicemail, you also have to dial 901 to listen

I've pm'd you JM. We have put in 1750 which has confirmed it's active I think the telephone number on the voicemail is wrong. I need to find out what his number is to change it.

Poppy has tried a few things but none of which are working

it says on a website to do this press **61*phone number then *11* time # SEND

I gather that time is 5/10/15 or 20 seconds but phone number is the stumbling block I think, does she have to put the phone numebr in of the mobile and if this is the case does it have to be in international format ? The message she got back was "request not completed" now I know the aboce code is the same for every phone to set up voicemail but its just how the phone number is entered that could be the problem. I've jsut tried calling O2 and they closed cs at 10pm and are not open till monday, so please can anybody help poppy out.

    Thanks
