The Cadbury's one wasn't too bad if I used a milk pod with it, though I found it rather sweet. Not tried the Milka one yet. Think I'd rather make hot chocolate the traditional way with proper cocoa powder though.

When I made the Suchard Hot Chocolate it was good-not too sweet but next time I'm going to add some hot milk, as it ain't much in my cup.:) (Probably won't buy the other hot chocs as you only get 8)

I've had my first machine nearly two years now - and never once has the scaler light come on. It still works perfectly too.

The secret is to use the yellow maintenance disk in the machine every two months, or monthly if you use it very frequently. Simply put a cup under, pop in the disk, and press it for a cycle three times. A voilà never scales up!

Kevbev - I have the T40/2 and the red light comes on automatically. The manual actually says if you live in a hard water area, you should descale more often than is indicated . The Service disc can be used as often as you like.

Can anyone tell me what the service disk actually does please? Does it essentially just draw plain hot water through the machine in the same way that a regular drinks pod would? (Sorry if that's a silly question!)

Yes, just runs hot water through the machine but a much larger amount than a cupful.
