Obviously you are so well travelled you can explain how 3 less seats (half a row) can provide so much more room over other airlines

I've found that opinions on legroom are highly subjective. It's largely the same for all shorthaul airlines in economy, yet I don't know how many time I've heard people claim that airline X have much more (or much less) legroom than airline Y.

I realize the seats used matter but I suspect the differences are often overstated.

It depends how far your backside has slipped down the seat. Simple.

If they are on Norwegian's planes then probably yes.

I wouldn't want to long haul - they are very uncomfortable.

Not that I sit in any economy seat further than Spain ... ;)

It appears that all of these long haul flights are to be operated by a single aircraft and that the turnaround times are bit tight and there could be delays.

There is a gap on Wednesday with a 9am arrival at LGW and the next departure after 15.35 in the afternoon to LAX, so this rotation to LA may be the least delayed.
