The face of someone snakeless
6 stores and still not even stocked. But at least I now know where it might find them slithering around in an abandoned trolley (probably just in time for it to be fixed). Thank you.
My latest venture took me to a store I never use, but I did manage to console myself with a £5ish womble, only to realise the apg site hadn't asked for my email and details....so it must have been used already. Not a scribble on it, but it was from 18th so highly likely. Should I, shouldn't I.....in light of recent debate on this forum, I binned it rather than it becoming an (in)Frequent Fraud
So instead, I console myself with touting for votes for a very good cause. If you could spare two minutes this bunch might get some cash.
Wicked little charity Doorway needs two seconds of your time to up their vote on this link. They're brilliant. Help homeless young people, and occasionally contract nearly homeless media types like us by letting us work for them.
They're really really nice. Go on. Two secs is all it takes. And they could win cold hard cash.

I struggle with the hour change thing for weeks and I hate changing all the clocks.
We once went through until the Tuesday after before changing them.
I'm struggling with the day/date, let alone the hour!
Had a complimentary few free months of Microsoft Office so to keep it working I've resorted to keeping putting the date back on the computer.
I've put libre office on computer but it doesn't open word docs sent me correctly.
I do have an old copy of Office 2003 & am wondering whether to try putting that on my Windows 8 - if it'll work & then not letting it update?
Office is FAR too expensive - unless someone knows how I can get it very cheaply?0 -

. Stressful weekend here. I had 'the Santa isn't real' conversation with DS2 last night and I could write a whole book on the fallout from that 1 conversation alone
It's also clock change weekend. One of the twice per year that he goes into complete overload mode driving himself mad over the discrepancy in the time. He literally cannot deal with it. It's known in our home a xxxxx's syntax error night.........because he is quite literally like one of those really old computers that couldn't cope and threw out the dreaded 'syntax error' message
I remember having the Father Christmas conversation with my son. It was when he was 11, and he was being not exactly teased, but kidded, about it at school.
We had taken the kids to Lapland when they were 6 and 8, and he was ABSOLUTELY convinced by this, they even had the sleigh flying past the restaurant window and we went by sleigh into the woods to see him.
He wanted to know why I was lying to him telling him about Santa not existing! He took a lot of convincing that he didn't actually exist! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

My out of date trial student copy of Office (I have never entered any code for it) opens documents with no problem. OK, I can't do anything with them, but I can read them. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
