Well I will definitely be filling my boots with fizzy stuff tonight :D. Stressful weekend here. I had 'the Santa isn't real' conversation with DS2 last night and I could write a whole book on the fallout from that 1 conversation alone :o

It's also clock change weekend. One of the twice per year that he goes into complete overload mode driving himself mad over the discrepancy in the time. He literally cannot deal with it. It's known in our home a xxxxx's syntax error night.........because he is quite literally like one of those really old computers that couldn't cope and threw out the dreaded 'syntax error' message :D:o

Oh FC......after years of practice you must be really good at explaining things.

I struggle with the hour change thing for weeks and I hate changing all the clocks.

We once went through until the Tuesday after before changing them.

Yes, very much so. Also add in the unpredictability of the APG even when there is no glitch - no surprises in the following press investigation into the A, S and T price comparison schemes

"Supermarkets set their own rules for what is and isn't compared under price-matching schemes, and sometimes stock products in different sizes, so it can be hard to tell which is the cheapest."

Take Supermarket price-match schemes with a pinch of salt .....

EXCEPT if you know what you're doing & then just TAKE THEM! :D

Thanks guys :) I was just people watching and I thought I can't let this go personally.

I agree that adults can look after themselves. However I would hate someone coming up to me while I'm typing in my Pin in the ATM!:eek: I get paranoid enough :o that's my personally space and I did notice one lady who completely refused him and walked off quite angrily.

My advice to anyone begging, that has both arms and legs working and speaks English is "go get a job":D

Any bits of amusing conversation you can share with us :) Does he cope ok with fireworks and Halloween ?

Oh Em, I could fill the page with it! The Santa thing has been most upsetting and confusing for him.....in fact it's got so confusing that I think Ive started to believe in Santa myself! :D It has however given rise to some amusing conversation and comments.

The situation as of now is.....I lied to him about Santa his whole life (his words) he has then gone on google/Wikipedia and put ME straight by telling me that actually Santa DOES exist. He accepts that Santa doesn't fly/come down chimneys/have a magic key/personally deliver every single present. Buy he's not having it that he doesn't exist.....and he's shown me the proof :o other worthwhile snippets from the past 2 days................

'so that year that I didn't get the Buzz lightyear I asked for, you stood by and let me blame an innocent man for it'

'All those times you told me to be good because Santa was watching and he wasn't. You lied to control my behaviour'

' How many children around the world are being lied to by their parents right now?'

' Ive spent the last 4 Christmas Eves tracking a man who can't even fly on the Santa Tracker '

' All those letters I sent that man and I bet he didn't even read them. In fact, did you even put stamps on them?'

    And my personal favourite

' So who munched the carrots then, you or Dad? '

    :o:D:)
