Had a complimentary few free months of Microsoft Office so to keep it working I've resorted to keeping putting the date back on the computer.
I've put libre office on computer but it doesn't open word docs sent me correctly.
I do have an old copy of Office 2003 & am wondering whether to try putting that on my Windows 8 - if it'll work & then not letting it update?
Office is FAR too expensive - unless someone knows how I can get it very cheaply?

I was waiting for a friend at the train station and noticed this old guy asking people for money. Fair enough I thought. But he seemed like he was jumping on people while they were paying using the self service machines and ATM. Which I didn't think was right. To put pressure on individuals in uncomfortable places! Then he asked two young kids! Probably 13/14 maybe younger. Which I didn't think was right at all! Or is that just me?
Went up and spoke to the train staff who agreed that that wasn't right and asked him to leave and he left. I did feel slightly guilty but then I think there's a time and place. Anyone agree? And making people feel uncomfortable isn't right. And asking kids isn't either:o
