    Morning all,

Cold and grey looking here too but no heating on yet, will try and hold out till November but we have older relatives coming on the 28th to stay the night before the funeral so it might have to go on then.

Yesterday was hard clearing my dads room at the home, but we felt better once his stuff was back home with mum. Today we have the celebrant coming out to speak to us about dad and get an idea of what he was like to enable her to do her thing at the service.

Need to do a wash today and have a clear round, house work is very much taking a back seat atm, dinner will be a fry up (grill up!) as its quick and we wont be in till later.

I had some excellent service from Farrow & Ball yesterday, I had ordered some paper a while back, it came yesterday but they had sent the wrong one, they are sending a man with a van to collect today and the correct paper will be delivered tomorrow ! excellent customer service! as long as it happens.

    Have good days all xx

    Hi Guys,
Thanks for your congrats:T I hope this works: https://www.facebook.com/hilary.porter.77 if it does you will be able to see my two gorgeous grandchildren!

Feel good today. My pink cast looks very trendy:rotfl:

Waiting for my neighbor to come and do me some brekkie,as I can't access the kitchen yet.I'll get there in the end.

DD and SIL are definitely going to move in with me next year. Got to sort out finances and build an extension yet though, but it will provide them with more room and I get someone to look after me.:A

    Cold and rainy here.
Congratulations to Hilly, hugs to Molly, Bemuzed and anyone else in need.
Fish fed, packed lunches made, hubby fed and dropped at work, I have a cuppa and a bowl of porridge in front of me, I have to be at work at 10. I need to go via the chemist to get painkillers for hubby, he's got another 7 day week to get through and his back is complaining.
I need some nice yarn to start knitting baby clothes for a family member, I usually buy cheap stuff, any recommendations?
I've had our heating on most evenings as I can't face being cold, but it's only on for a couple of hours at a time.
    Time I made a move.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

TTFTM Hope that the interview went well

I am at work and you can't see much further than the window as it is so foggy, it was like being in Narnia walking to school this morning!

Flying visit as I have my observed lesson this morning and I still have lots of last minute preparations before the Head of School and the Head of Languages come to watch me teach and pull the lesson apart!

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)

The link worked for me (perhaps it's because I'm on FB?)

Hilly, that must be a relief to you, to know that they will have their own space and you will have the support you will need. Also gives you something to get your teeth into whilst planning it all ;)

    Hello all,

On the phone again and think I've just lost apostr - grrrr.

Helping Dd1 fill in job application - fingers crossed.

Carpets almost finished in bedrooms, look lovely but sooo much decluttering to do, where does it all come from? I thought I'd cleared loads.

Lo shepherds pie for DH tonight - beans on toast for me as I've had tuna jacket with DD1 for lunch.

Mickey cat still not himself, vet tomorrow if he's no better

    Cheers m'dears. xxx
