He gave it a quick drive around the yard, but I don't think he was looking at much more than the clutch and brakes. He looked under the bonnet, but never spotted it was full of K-SealYes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -
I don't think I got a fair price for my Corsa off them, I think I got an outstanding price seeing as it had about 10 minutes to live
Last seen at BCA Measham, good luck to whoever bought it.He gave it a quick drive around the yard, but I don't think he was looking at much more than the clutch and brakes. He looked under the bonnet, but never spotted it was full of K-Seal
From WBAC's website...When we present you with your valuation we will have made the following assumptions about your car:- It has no damage, including ... mechanical.
Did you do that? Go on, admit it... you didn't, did you?
The old criminal offence of "obtaining pecuniary advantage through deception" was replaced with simple "fraud" a few years ago, wasn't it...?0 -

They don't send the good stuff to CarCraft any more, it all goes to BCA now. Plate driver drove off in mine before i could make it to the minicab office round the corner.0 -

Why would your sister coerce your mum into selling a car that she, the sister, uses? Fair enough if the sister desperately needed some money, but it sounds like the money is being used to buy another car.
Because she wants to get a cheapo car and keep the rest even though its my mums car. It's a long story and she's not a nice person (sister not mother).0 -

Well that doesn't seem true, I'm sure you can rescind if you wish to, just apparently don't want to even if the circumstances might not have been fair.0 -

I think that sums it up nicely:
Even Kwik Fit have a rep on here who'll offer to try and sort things for you. WBAC have a rep who comes on and says tough cheddar.
Would you really want to deal with a company whose customer service level is below KF's? :rotfl:0 -

Why would you have the right to back out of a simple vehicle sale!
You are given the price after the car is inspected you have a chance to barter which i did to get the price i wanted.
The problem with this country is everybody thinks they have more rights than they actually have.
Do you have the right to pull out of a house sale after contracts have been completed?
Selling to WBAC is the same in my mind. You have the right to cancel at any point up till you agree a deal and give over you bank details for payment.
Pay a few quid and get the money the next day.
If you want the car back go doen to BCA and buy it back. Simples.0 -
