BPCollins Letter Of Demand

So just to sum up, if I do nothing its unlikely they will take me to court?
And to send the letter is to get the solicitor to follow the industry practice they should be following? i.e. not offering their services on the cheap to rogue businesses?
Deepindebt:
1. Send Daisy's letter (post no 8) to BP Collins Solicitors using your details.

2. Make a formal separate complaint to the Solicitors Regulation Authority regarding BP Collins misleading and mispresenting taking specific client instruction for UK Parking Control (as per their brochure). Include the false information on their website as per my previous post. You may also like to add that you are being pursued for a debt which you deny and will defend.
SRA WEBSITE:https://www.sra.org.uk
3. In the meantime you can also write to the landowner who appointed UK Parking Control stating that you are a customer and are now being harassed for a debt you deny and request that they contact UK Parking Control directly to cancel this parking charge (with written confirmation to you when this has been actioned). State that should this charge not be cancelled that you may consider a counter claim for damages against the parking company which may also involve the landowner.
UK Parking Control Limited have not yet taken anyone to court - however DO NOT IGNORE ANY COURT SUMMONS FROM ANY COURT CLEARING SERVICE (NORTHAMPTON BEING THE USUAL).
HOPE THIS IS CLEAR ENOUGH.

Hi all! How successful was this? I'm in exactly the same position with my first letter from BP Collins. My husband parked on a road on an estate that has UKPC signs around, but the only one near the car was on a house that had parking bays below. We chose to ignore all the letters but obviously concerns have arisen.
Do I do the same thing as you suggested above? I looked at all the links and Daisy's letter but reading the justice website made me think that the letter they sent to me meets the requirements in Annex 1 paragraph 2. I don't want to look like an idiot sending cut and paste letters if you know what I mean!
Between the two of us we've had 4 'fines', this is the only one that has continued.
Btw I would post a new thread but I can't work it out, and the iPad won't play the forum help video!
Many thanks in advance,

First, please start your own thread as trying to advise on two spearate cases on the same thread leads to confusion for you and for those trying to advise you.
Secondly, I have not come across a single letter before claim to date that complies with the practice direction! If it does, I'd love to see it!
Have a look at this thread (it primarily deals with Praking Eye, but also links to another more generic thread)
