No no step like this, even on the incline it goes completely flat (no lip) and slipped walking out of the shop.0

I would think he would risk losing his job and perhaps a prosecution for doing so, these things happen all the time and for such a small claim. I don't think you need worry there. I don't know what exactly that offence it would be, but in a managerial position I would think at least sackable. and its not his money that is going to pay you.:):)
ps once they know you only want your trousers reimbursing I think they just might pay quick just in-case you change your mind.
hope you get the anti slip strips too. but I think you can only recommend that and then its there concern.0 -

Depends if his company has a set policy to carry out processing in the rain, and he has failed to carry these out and the CCTV would show this.
Theirs no law to keep CCTV, as some companies will keep them a few days and then just reuse them. only time they would keep them is for criminal cases such as if they catch a car driving away with paying. can you image the space needed to store years of DVDs0 -

were clutching at straws now as we don't have the full details nor do we need them, as the op is now awaiting the store/office to contact her. (ive used my powers of deduction to ascertain it is a female op). they do not know at present how serious or trivial her claim is going to be. so to try to do a cover up would or could as we don't know how many staff where present at the time of the incident be seen as conspiracy to deceive if any cover up is uncovered. there are many types of recording material for cctv and even though there may be cameras up there is no legal requirement for them to be working or even recording if working.. the op may have a witness although its not reported on here that she does, they don't know that. the accident was reported and details taken, hopefully the op got names of staff present at the time, again unknown.
ive worked and installed cctv and 60 days is the usual keep time. however digi hard drive will hold for much longer depending on quality, but going of subject now.
as the op is only claiming for a pair of trousers, and again with my powers of deduction have deduced that the cost of said trousers will be in the range of £19.99 to £29.99. as it was during the day and no mention of a special occasion was on the cards for the rest of her day, so they would not have been her best trousers just smart casual every day wear. the op may verify this. in mho the cheque will hit her door mat within a week of her returning the claim form she will receive from said garage's hq. :j0
