People are speculating today.
"People" in general, are investing in property, not speculating.
Arguably, if BTL was predominantly a speculation, then there would be fewer BTL's as they sold up before the drop in prices.
However we see that BTL has expanded and is continuing to do so.
Don't confuse a minority who speculate (I don't deny there will be some) over the majority who are investing in a long term strategy.:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.

They certainly are! Even Pension providers are speculating in BTL - L&G for one. Surely you wouldn't approve of that would you?
... oops...Graham_Devon wrote: ».......Even if L&G do charge a little extra it doesn't mean the average rental price in that area goes up, as the extra competition may mean the larger number of existing landlords see a price fall and therefore, average rental prices fall.
This is a brilliant scheme from what we have seen and the intentions. Should be commended. Theres nothing wrong with a large company like this building its name on a social conscience.0
